This funding will be directed towards projects centered on aviation and science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects within classrooms situated in the United’s seven Hub markets: Chicago, Denver, Washington, D.C., New York, Houston, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
The initiative will also extend to Phoenix and various locations across Hawaii.

United’s contribution will finance ongoing aviation-related classroom projects available on DonorsChoose.org.
At the same time, the remaining funds will be allocated for a subsequent matching campaign over the coming months to support additional aviation and STEM-focused initiatives.
Educators from the designated cities who wish to propose projects for potential funding can visit donorschoose.org/teachers.
DonorsChoose.Org connects the public with public school teachers in need of financial assistance to acquire school supplies and cover program expenses for their students.
The organization originated from a public high school teacher in the Bronx, NY, in 2000. Donors Choose ensures the transparency and integrity of funding every aspect of each project, including vetting requests, procuring items, and directly delivering materials to verified teachers.
