LONDON- The flag carrier of UAE, Emirates (EK), has unveiled plans to introduce an additional five flights per week to London Heathrow (LHR), commencing from October 31, 2023, and continuing until March 30, 2024.
This temporary service has been designed to meet the heightened demand during the bustling winter season, presenting travelers with an extended range of travel options.
Emirates More London Heathrow Flights
Currently, Emirates operates six daily A380 flights to London Heathrow (LHR). The new flight frequency will be available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and will be operated by Emirates’ spacious Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
The aircraft will feature a three-class configuration, catering to First, Business, and Economy class passengers.
Emirates’ flight EK41 will take off from Dubai (DXB) at 13:20hrs and touch down at London Heathrow at 17:20hrs, local time.
On the return journey, flight EK42 will depart from London Heathrow at 20:15hrs, reaching Dubai at 07:15hrs local time the following day.
125+ Weekly UK Flights
With over 125 weekly flights dedicated to the UK market, Emirates is steadily reinstating its UK services.
The airline has recently reintroduced its iconic A380 service to Birmingham (BHX) and Glasgow (GLA), enhancing its operations with double daily flights to Stansted (STN) and improved services to Newcastle (NCL) and London Gatwick (LGW).
Emirates’ current UK flight offerings encompass a total of 126 weekly flights, including several notable routes: a six-times daily A380 service to London Heathrow; a three-times daily A380 service to Gatwick; a twice-daily service to Stansted; a three-times daily A380 service to Manchester; a double daily service to Birmingham (which incorporates a daily A380 service); a daily service to Newcastle; and a daily A380 service to Glasgow.
