BEIJING- SAUDIA (SV), the national airline of Saudi Arabia, has successfully inaugurated its inaugural nonstop flight from Jeddah (JED) to Beijing (PKX), China, through a partnership with the Air Connectivity Program (ACP).
This significant achievement aligns with the Saudi Aviation Strategy. Further emphasizing the significance of enhanced air connections to tap into vital markets like China.

Saudia Jeddah Beijing Flights
On the morning of August 4, 2023, the inaugural SAUDIA flight (SV 0886) embarked on its journey from Jeddah to Beijing.
This significant event marked the commencement of direct flights from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah to Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX).
The occasion was commemorated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held at the boarding gate.
Subsequently, graced by the presence of esteemed individuals such as His Excellency Engr. Ibrahim Al-Omar, Director General of SAUDIA Group, His Excellency Mr. Chen Weiqing, the Chinese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Ayman Abu Abah, CEO of JEDCO, and representatives from ACP.

Departing guests were treated to chocolates and a special boarding pass as tokens of celebration for this historic milestone.
Upon arrival at Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX), the Boeing 787-9 received a warm welcome marked by a water salute. Further accompanied by the presentation of flowers and giveaways to the arriving guests.
Another significant moment was the departure of the first flight from Beijing to Saudi Arabia (SV 0887). This was commemorated through a second ceremony.
