          TOULOUSE- US-Bangla Airlines, the largest private carrier in Bangladesh, has joined hands with ATR, the world’s leading regional aircraft manufacturer, in a significant move to optimize maintenance costs and improve fleet reliability.

          The partnership has been solidified through the signing of a five-year Global Maintenance Agreement (GMA) that covers the airline’s fleet of eight ATR 72-600s.

          US-Bangla Airlines ATR Maintenance Agreement

          US-Bangla Airlines places utmost importance on reliability, on-time performance, customer experience, and safety. As the airline celebrates its 9th Anniversary, the GMA with ATR marks a strategic step in strengthening their cooperation.

          The GMA focuses on repair, overhaul, and pooling services of Line Replaceable Units. Along with the availability and maintenance of propellers and leading edges.

          This innovative pay-by-the-hour contract is expected to optimize the reliability of the ATR fleet. While simultaneously reducing operating costs, presenting a win-win partnership opportunity for both entities.

          Mohammed Abdullah Al Mamun, Managing Director of US-Bangla Airlines, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration.

          He stated, “Both our teams have worked relentlessly to innovate a commercial model which we hope will stand the test of time and be a new benchmark in aviation.”

          ATR’s Proven Track Record

          ATR is known for its commitment to finding cost-effective solutions for its customers. Subsequently, it eagerly supports US-Bangla Airlines’s daily operations through the GMA.

          Stefano Marazzani, ATR’s Senior Vice-President of Customer Support and Services, highlighted the collaboration’s benefits.

          He stated, “While we share our expertise and look for efficiencies in components maintenance and reliability improvement processes, they can focus on their core business. Further offering the greatest travel experience to the Bangladeshi communities in the most responsible and sustainable way.”

          The ATR GMA has been a game-changer for regional airlines for over 25 years. By enhancing parts availability, providing maintenance advice, troubleshooting, and engineering analysis, the GMA has significantly boosted regional airlines’ operations while effectively reducing maintenance costs.
