          UNITED KINGDOM- In an exciting development, Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV) has announced a groundbreaking corporate partnership with the prestigious Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT), the largest military airshow in the world.

          This collaboration marks a significant step towards RIAT’s goal of becoming a more sustainable event, showcasing innovative technologies that contribute to the decarbonization of the aerospace sector.

          In an exciting development, Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV) has announced a groundbreaking corporate partnership with the prestigious Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT), the largest military airshow in the world.

          Hybrid Airlander 10 to Debut in RIAT 2027

          As part of the five-year agreement, Hybrid Air Vehicles plans to feature its remarkable Airlander 10 aircraft in the flying display at the 2027 edition of RIAT.

          This demonstration aims to highlight the potential of the Airlander 10. Further, its hybrid airship technology revolutionizes air travel with its ultra-low emissions capabilities.

          By delivering up to 90% reductions in emissions across various operations, including short-haul domestic transport, long-haul freight, and military logistics and surveillance, Airlander 10 represents a significant breakthrough in sustainable aircraft technology.

          RIAT has already taken strides toward reducing its environmental impact. Subsequently, setting objectives to minimize the event’s ecological footprint starting from the 2022 show.

          In line with this commitment, RIAT has prioritized showcasing cutting-edge technology and sustainable innovations in the aerospace industry.

          Notably, the 2022 edition of RIAT featured the exhibition of electric light aircraft. Further paving the way for future advancements in decarbonization.

          In an exciting development, Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV) has announced a groundbreaking corporate partnership with the prestigious Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT), the largest military airshow in the world.

          Partnership Signals RIAT’s Net-Zero Pathway

          Collaborating with pioneering companies like Hybrid Air Vehicles emphasizes RIAT’s dedication to achieving its net-zero goals and accelerating decarbonization.

          By joining forces with market leaders in aerospace decarbonization, RIAT aims to drive sustainable change. Subsequently, inspire the industry to embrace greener practices. This partnership showcases RIAT’s commitment to promoting sustainability in the aerospace sector.

          Under the agreement between HAV and RIAT, Hybrid Air Vehicles will also play a more active role in the airshow’s focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) careers and training.

          This collaboration aims to establish a skilled talent pipeline that supports the UK’s aerospace sector. Thereupon fostering the development of new green opportunities such as the Airlander aircraft.

          The partnership seeks to cultivate the necessary skills and expertise to harness the potential of innovative technologies in the build-up to the landmark flying display in 2027.

          Executive Insights

          Kate McKinley, the People and Sustainability Director of the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises (RAFCTE) expresses enthusiasm about the collaboration.

          Kate stated, “We are delighted to have partnered with Hybrid Air Vehicles in this way. As an event, we are determined to make clear, measurable, and positive changes to how we work to do the right thing. Partnerships like this are a huge sign of intent.”

          Highlighting the groundbreaking nature of the Airlander technology, Hybrid Air Vehicles CEO, Tom Grundy, said, “Airlander rethinks the skies and changes perceptions of what is possible with aerospace, including in sustainability.”

          Today’s partnership with the Royal International Air Tattoo further strengthens Hybrid Air Vehicles’ position as a leader in aerospace decarbonization,” added Grundy

          Grundy also expressed excitement about exhibiting the ultra-low emissions Airlander 10 at the world’s largest military airshow in 2027, demonstrating its exceptional capabilities.

          He also mentioned the planned expansion of the Airlander family. This includes the development of Airlander 50, which will offer increased payload capacity for air transportation of large or outsize loads.
