LONDON- British Airways (BA) is stepping up its commitment to customer satisfaction by introducing delightful holiday treats such as Ice Cream for the summer season.
As part of this initiative, the airline is thrilled to announce the inclusion of refreshing ice cream. Further pre-take-off bubbles, seasonal menus, and brand-new inflight entertainment.
British Airways Offers Ice Cream
Starting tomorrow, British Airways will offer complimentary ice cream on daytime flights departing from London Heathrow and London Gatwick before 5 pm UK time.
Teaming up with fellow British brand Jude’s, the airline will provide a variety of flavors. This includes very vanilla, strawberries and cream, truly chocolate, and salted caramel.
Produced just 60 miles away in Hampshire, these delectable treats will be available to World Traveller Plus (premium economy). Further to World Traveller (economy) passengers during their travels over the upcoming months.
From mid-July, British Airways is bringing back sparkling wine in its World Traveller Plus cabin as part of its pre-take-off drink selection.
Passengers traveling in Club World (business class) can savor a unique glass of British bubbles with the exclusive Balfour Rosé de Noirs, made solely from red grapes.
This lighter rosé English Sparkling wine is a special blend crafted exclusively for British Airways. Subsequently making it the perfect indulgence before embarking on summer adventures.
British Airways is introducing a rosé blend for the first time in its First cabin. Rock Angel, the big brother of Whispering Angel, will make an appearance on board, boasting more structure and oaky flavors than its younger sibling.
Additionally, customers on short-haul flights can pre-purchase Château d’Esclans’ Whispering Angel Provence rosé through the airline’s newly branded High Life Café** (formerly Speedbird Café). Further offering a taste of summer, whether traveling to Europe or beyond.
Summer-Inspired Menus
Travelers across all cabins can relish in a range of summer-inspired menus available until September.
First-class passengers can choose lighter dishes such as a classic prawn cocktail or grilled fillet of Atlantic halibut. Further, the beloved British summer staple is berry bread and butter pudding.
World Traveller Plus passengers can indulge in fresh calamarata pasta followed by a raspberry panna cotta.

Passengers can look forward to the brand-new ‘Summer Fun’ category on the inflight entertainment channel, specially curated for families and children to enjoy at 35,000ft.
Blockbuster movies like Mummies, Luca, Avatar: The Way of Water, and a special Barbie channel will keep young minds entertained.
Sports enthusiasts are not left behind, as the airline introduces a dedicated ‘Women in Sport’ movie category. Further featuring a diverse array of sporting highlights just in time for the football summer season.
