The Veteran actor Satish Shah faced a shocking incident of racism, but he maintained his calm and gave a strong response to the personal attack.
Veteran actor Satish Shah gave an epic response after he faced racism at Heathrow International airport here. The actor, who is popularly known as Indravardhan Sarabhai from his show Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, was traveling to London in 1st class and overheard racist remarks at the airport.

While he was traveling, officials at the airport could not believe that he could afford tickets for 1st class. However, this did not stop actor Satish Shah from giving a response back. Tweeting about the same, he wrote: “I replied with a proud smile ‘because we are Indians’ after I overheard the Heathrow staff wonderingly asking his mate – ‘how can they afford first class’?
Soon after Shah’s tweet, many netizens appreciated him. One Twitter user replied to the award-winning Veteran actor Satish Shah who has excelled both in films and television telling, “You could have also said them, arrive and see our Delhi International airport and Hyderabad International airports and decide where Heathrow airport stands. I just transited via Heathrow airport. It is like our old Mumbai International airport.”

A third user stated, “Next time please add 1 more line that whatever they are affording today is also because of Indian money, their ancestors looted.”
“We are proud of you Satish bhai,” wrote a user. Another user wrote, “Well not fully their mistake sir. It’s the British gov who won’t teach them their right history about the atrocities of their empire and they believe what is in their books written.

In his 50 years of career, Satish has appeared in many Bollywood films and many TV shows. The veteran actor did his 1st film in the early 1970s but actor Satish Shah is most remembered for his roles in films such as ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaar (1983) and television shows such as ‘Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi’ (1984) and ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ (2004). He was last seen in the 2014 film ‘Humshakals’.
