Qatar Airways is engaged in what the business refers to as “the largest talent acquisition in the history of the aviation industry.” According to a report from Spring Field Gazzete, Qatar Airways is hiring a “significant number of fresh specialists from India to assist its worldwide operations in a variety of fields.

Massive crowd attend Recruitment drive
These employment opportunities include ones with Qatar Airways, Qatar Duty Free, Qatar Aviation Services, and other companies. This recruitment campaign is being conducted not only because of the rising demand for international travel, but also because Qatar is getting ready to host the FIFA World Cup in 2022.
The airline was holding an open hiring event at the Hilton Mumbai on September 29–30, 2022, as part of this goal. On social media, a number of videos and images have surfaced showing a sizable line of people waiting outside a hotel in Mumbai.
Social media users referred to it as the longest “job interview queue.” For the walk-in interview with Qatar Airways, there were significant lines outside the hotel. The airline had to turn away many applicants due to the large number of people.
Chaos At Qatar Airways Recruitment Event In Mumbai
The chaotic job fair was even given the name. “It looked like the biggest Black Friday deal ever with the length of the lines. People had to be turned away, which clearly infuriated several of the attendees who had travelled far to attend this event,” The outlet continued.
Akbar Al Baker, CEO of Qatar Airways, was quoted by the Spring Field Gazzete as saying that the Doha-based airline had no trouble hiring pilots in the middle of 2022. He claimed that the company received over 20,000 applications for just 700 positions, with all applicants being qualified and type-rated.
In a statement, Qatar Airways Group stated that as on September 16, 2022, applications from Indian citizens will be accepted for positions across all divisions.
The group wanted to hire a lot of people for a variety of jobs, including those in the front of the house, administration, sales, and finance, as well as the culinary, corporate and commercial, management, cargo, customer service, engineering, flight operations, ground services, safety and security.
The corporation plans to hire staff in India for its numerous businesses, including Dhiafatina Hotels, Qatar Duty-Free, Qatar Airways Catering Company, Qatar Aviation Services, and Qatar Distribution Company.
