Akasa Air first flight lands at Ahmedabad Airport on time despite 29 mins delay at Mumbai airport.
The airline is India’s newest airline with the greenest and youngest fleet in India.
The flight is inaugurated by Jyotiraditya Scindia Ji via video conferencing.
There are many Indian Aviators, media staff, airline board members, and Rakesh jhunjhunwala onboard the first flight.
Ahmedabad Airport welcomed Akasa Air QP1101 VT-YAA for the first time.
About Akasa Air
The Airline is a Low-cost Carrier funded by the stock master Rakesh Jhunjunwala and its co.
The airline will be led by former Jet Airways CEO Vinay Dube and Former Indigo Airlines President Aditya Ghosh.
The Airline has opted for Boeing 737 Max Aircraft for its fleet due to its performance and now it is considered one of the safest aircraft on the planet after vigorous testing.
According to them, The Max aircraft will be powered by the highly fuel-efficient CFM LEAP B engine.
Akasa Air inked a contract with Boeing on November 26, 2021, to purchase 72 Max jets.
