SpiceJet passengers complain about lost baggage and seek response from the airline

Landing at the destined airport and not being able to find your baggage can be no less than a nightmare. Over a bunch of fifty passengers journeying from Dubai to Pune in SpiceJet SG52 on July 14 experienced something alike when they did not receive their baggage at Pune airport.

The travelers were left stranded as they found out their baggage hadn’t reached the destined airport. Even after waiting for hours for their luggage, passengers did not receive any communication from the airlines. Until Friday (July 15) evening, there was no communication from the airlines about the whereabouts of their baggage.

Passengers took to Twitter to complain

Multiple passengers took to Twitter to complain about their lost baggage and to seek an answer from SpiceJet.

“It’s 51hrs now, have lost our baggage, no clothes, and medicine, and required things, how much patience do you expect from us. No one responded on phone. And Spicejet Social Media team is just sending one msg copy paste to keep patience,” tweeted a user.

“Spicejet my problems are not solving, I just reached to know after sitting inside metro that someone has opened my bag after providing it into baggage, my bag used to have one tightening strap which is missing.. will reach Rohtak at approximately ten then check and ensure if anything lost,” read a tweet. 

Dear SpiceJet kindly let me know how much more time your team needs now… it’s been 20 days since we received completely damaged baggage, so let us be honest here and let me know whether SpiceJet is replacing the total damaged baggage or not…awaiting your, answer, and please…” read another tweet. 

SpiceJet has been responding to tweets requesting the passengers to remain patient as they solve the problem. SpiceJet spokesperson recently stated that the remaining bags are stated to come by the weekend and as per international industry practices, luggage is being delivered within 48 hours.
