SpiceJet announced on Tuesday that flights between Bhavnagar, Gujarat, and Pune and Mumbai will begin on May 5.
The airline announced in a statement that it will begin extra flights on the Ahmedabad-Pune route.
It stated that the Bhavnagar-Pune flight will be operated under the UDAN scheme of the central government.
The UDAN system provides financial incentives to chosen airlines from the federal government, state governments, and airport operators in order to stimulate operations from unserved and underserved airports while keeping airfares low.
For the flights, SpiceJet will use its Q400 aircraft.
