Vistara announced on Thursday that flights between Coimbatore and Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru will begin on May 20.
"Effective May 20 and May 27, the airline will run daily flights to the city (Coimbatore) from Delhi and Mumbai, respectively; and double daily connectivity from Bengaluru beginning June 3," according to the airline's statement.
It stated that Coimbatore is the 31st city in the country to be served by Vistara flights.
Prior to this, Vistara announced a change to its Delhi-Heathrow flight schedule, stating that daily service between the two cities will begin on May 1.

Vistara CEO Vinod Kannan has stated that the airline aims to increase its total workforce strength to 5,000 by the end of the year.
After taking into consideration some aircraft that will be returned to lessors, the airline aims to have 70 planes by the end of 2023, up from 50 now.
