An Air Canada (AC) Boeing 737 MAX aircraft carrying 156 passengers and six crew members veered off the runway while exiting after landing at Montréal–Trudeau International Airport (YUL) on Thursday, prompting a temporary runway closure and causing operational delays across the airport.

On August 29, 2023, Canadian carrier Sunwing Airlines (WG) Boeing 737 MAX 8, operating as flight WG645 from Holguin (Cuba) to Montreal, QC (Canada), experienced an incident while taxiing for departure on runway 23.
