Tata Group-owned LCC subsidiary Air India Express (IX) added 13 new city pairs or routes in January 2025.

SpiceJet (SG), an Indian low-cost airline, has announced special flights to Prayagraj for the occasion of Maha Kumbh Mela, which will take place in 2025.

With approximately Rs 173 crores allocated by the state government for improvements at Prayagraj airport, development work is now underway.
