Due to heavy rainfall in Guwahati, a section of the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport’s (GAU) roof collapsed on Sunday.

“The windshield of a Go-Air flight between Delhi-Guwahati cracked mid-air. Due to poor weather, the aircraft did not return to Delhi and diverted safely to Jaipur,” a DGCA official was quoted as saying by the news agency.
SpiceJet stated it will launch new and extra nonstop flights on its domestic and international routes to accommodate current demand.
The MBB airport, located 20 km north of the Tripura capital city, is the second most active airport in northeastern India in terms of operating aircraft after Guwahati.
