British Airways suspends four cabin crew after a reported late-night misconduct incident at a Belfast hotel.

A Virgin Atlantic (VS) flight attendant was removed from duty after arriving at work while over four times the legal alcohol limit, following a car crash en route to the airport.

United Airlines (UA) is the only major US carrier that permits flight attendants to consume alcohol while technically on duty during specific circumstances.

During the initial six months of this year, DGCA Reports 33 pilots and 97 cabin crew members did not pass their mandatory alcohol tests, which are administered either before or after their flights.
