Delta Pilot Incapacitated

Russell, hailing from the US state of Georgia, where Delta has its base, was scheduled to pilot a Boeing 767 carrying passengers from Edinburgh to New York before his detention.

The Delta incapacitated pilot crew member was moved to the cabin for medical attention. Another crew member who was on rest at the time assumed the responsibilities of the ailing pilot.
