The aviation safety regulator told that the matter is “of serious concern and unacceptable”. “After going through Air India submissions, as part of enforcement action, the competent authority has levied a fine of Rs 10 Lakh. In addition, the airline has been advised to directly put the systems in place to resolve the issue failing which further action shall be taken by DGCA,” the aviation watchdog told in a report.

On June 9th, an A350-1000 took off and completed its first flight at Airbus facilities in Toulouse, France. The plane, painted in Qatar Airways livery, was indeed ordered by the Middle Eastern carrier. However, it’s uncertain if – and perhaps unlikely that – the airline will ever take delivery of this plane.
