American Airlines established a pilot base for Boeing 787 aircraft in New York , eliminating the need to relocate pilots from other cities.

American Airlines (AA) has rescheduled the delivery of ten out of its remaining 30 firm-ordered Boeing 787-9s, originally slated for 2024 and 2025, now expected in 2028 or beyond, as indicated in the airline’s quarterly report.
