Airbus Helicopters Final Assembly Line

Airbus and Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) have selected Karnataka to establish India’s first private helicopter assembly facility.

European plane maker, Airbus has chosen eight potential locations for its second assembly line, which will make H125 helicopters in India.

Airbus presently conducts final assembly operations at six locations, spanning France, Germany, the US, Canada, China, and, most recently, India.

In a significant boost to the ‘Make in India’ initiative, Airbus Helicopters has announced a partnership with the Tata Group to establish a Final Assembly Line (FAL) for helicopters in the country.
