DOHA- Qatar Airways (QR) has launched its first-ever digital destination inside Fortnite, marking a major step in immersive brand engagement.
The World’s Best Airline brings its signature products and Doha landmarks into gaming to reach younger, digital-first audiences.
The experience begins in Doha through Hamad International Airport (DOH), where players enter a virtual journey guided by the airline’s AI cabin crew.
The initiative positions the airline at the convergence of travel, gaming, and next-generation digital platforms.

Qatar Airways QVerse Island Fortnite
Qatar Airways has officially entered Fortnite with the launch of QVerse Island, an open-access digital environment available to all players worldwide.
Users can access the island by searching for “QVerse” or entering the island code 6020-0265-6735 within the game.
The initiative reflects the airline’s ongoing focus on pioneering next-generation digital experiences and redefining how travellers engage with brands.
According to Campaign Middle East, the move demonstrates how airlines are increasingly leveraging immersive platforms to connect with consumers beyond traditional media.
QVerse Island introduces a golden ticket competition that links virtual gameplay to real-world travel opportunities. Between 7 and 20 February 2026, players can join selected global gaming content creators in live sessions across the island.
The game randomly spawns golden tickets across the map and announces them through on-screen alerts.
Once notified, players must race against time to locate the ticket, as it remains visible only for a few minutes before disappearing and respawning elsewhere.
After finding a golden ticket, players must capture a screenshot of their in-game character holding it.
Participants must share the image on Instagram, Facebook, or X using the hashtag #FlyWithQR and follow Qatar Airways on Instagram. After completing these steps, players automatically enter a draw to win complimentary Qatar Airways flight tickets.
While live creator sessions take place on specific dates, the golden ticket competition runs until 31 March 2026, with organizers selecting a new winner each week.

Recreating Doha Through Gameplay
The Fortnite journey begins at Hamad International Airport, where players meet Sama, the world’s first AI digital human cabin crew.
Qatar Airways previously made headlines as the first airline to introduce an AI influencer, and Sama now serves as the in-world guide throughout QVerse Island.
Guided by Sama, players explore Doha through mission-based challenges that showcase the airline’s premium offerings, including the award-winning Qsuite and The Orchard.
The island features detailed recreations of key landmarks such as the National Museum of Qatar and West Bay, allowing players to experience the city’s cultural and modern identity.

QVerse Island forms part of Qatar Airways’ broader digital ecosystem, which includes its immersive web-based QVerse experience, online brand storytelling, experiential activations, and interactive environments.
