SAVANNAH- Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announces the Gulfstream G300 super-midsize jet completes its first flight from Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV) at 8:05 AM local time. The aircraft flies for 2 hours and 25 minutes at Mach 0.75 and 30,000 feet (9,144 meters).
Introduced on September 30 in Savannah as the latest addition to Gulfstream’s visionary fleet, the G300 demonstrates significant program maturity and marks the launch of its rigorous flight test program.
Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream, calls the jet a game changer that exceeds customer expectations for large-cabin features in a mid-cabin aircraft.

Gulfstream G300 Completes First Flight
Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. achieves first flight after completing more than 2,000 ground test hours. Two additional test aircraft enter production to support certification.
The G300 brings another category leader to the next-generation fleet, ensuring Gulfstream offers an aircraft for every mission.
The jet delivers a class-leading range of 3,600 nautical miles/6,667 kilometers at Mach 0.80 or 3,000 nautical miles/5,556 kilometers at Mach 0.84. Clean-swept Gulfstream wings and Honeywell HTF7250G engines provide impressive fuel efficiency.
The aircraft maintains the lowest cabin altitude in its class at 4,800 feet/1,463 meters when cruising at 41,000 feet/12,497 meters.

Largest Cabin in Segment
The G300 features the largest interior among super-midsize jets with seating for up to 10 passengers.
Ten Gulfstream Panoramic Oval Windows supply natural light across two living areas. The cabin includes a generously appointed galley, ample baggage room, 100% fresh air, a standard plasma air ionization system, and whisper-quiet sound levels.
“With its combination of safety, technology, performance and cabin comfort, the G300 is a game changer for the super-midsize category,” states Mark Burns.
“This latest investment, designed to exceed our customers’ expectations for large-cabin features in a mid-cabin aircraft, brings another new category leader to our next-generation fleet.
With the addition of the G300, Gulfstream truly offers an aircraft for every mission. Achieving first flight at this stage in the program is a remarkable achievement.”
