MONTREAL- Air Canada (AC) will significantly expand its Summer 2026 transatlantic schedule, adding new nonstop services from Montréal (YUL), Toronto (YYZ), and Halifax (YHZ) to Berlin (BER), Nantes (NTE), Ponta Delgada (PDL), and Brussels (BRU).
The network growth strengthens leisure and business connectivity while increasing access to key European destinations.
With these additions, Air Canada is positioned to offer North America’s second-largest transatlantic network by destinations next summer, demonstrating strong demand for international travel and continued investments in global market expansion.

Air Canada New Flights to Europe
Air Canada confirmed the seasonal Montréal to Berlin and Montréal to Nantes routes, the Toronto to Ponta Delgada route, and the Halifax to Brussels route, each operating 3 times weekly. Additionally, Montréal to Tel Aviv seasonal flights will resume for Summer 2026.
According to the airline, the expansion directly supports tourism, economic ties, and streamlined onward connections across Europe through Star Alliance partners. Flights are currently open for booking.
This expansion builds on Air Canada’s previously announced Summer 2026 international growth plan, which includes new services to Palma de Mallorca and Catania from Montréal, Shanghai, and Budapest from Toronto, and the extension of Vancouver to Bangkok service to year-round.
In total, the carrier expects to connect Canada to more than 126 global destinations during the season, representing up to 155,000 seats weekly across the Atlantic, Pacific, and South America.
Montréal to Berlin
Air Canada will operate the Montréal to Berlin route three times weekly using the Airbus A321XLR, which features lie-flat seats in Business Class and refreshed Economy cabins.
The service supports both business and tourism demand between Canada and Germany’s capital.
