ISTANBUL- Turkish Technic has entered into a significant component support agreement with Air India Express (IX), expanding its maintenance services for the carrier’s Boeing 737-8 and 737-10 fleet.
The comprehensive deal encompasses 190 aircraft, marking a substantial expansion of the existing partnership between the two aviation companies.
Turkish Technic Partners with Air India Express
The agreement provides Air India Express access to Turkish Technic’s extensive component services, including pooling, repair, overhaul, modification, and logistics support. Turkish Technic’s global supply chain network will serve as a cornerstone in maintaining the operational reliability of Air India Express’s growing fleet.
Turkish Technic CEO and Board Member Mikail Akbulut emphasized the significance of strengthening their partnership with Air India Express.
The renewed collaboration underscores Turkish Technic’s proven track record in component support and supply chain management, positioning the company to enhance Air India Express’s operational efficiency further.
Air India Express Managing Director Aloke Singh highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership for the airline’s expanding Boeing 737 fleet. The collaboration aims to strengthen the carrier’s maintenance capabilities while ensuring consistent component availability for aircraft operations.

Expands Partnership with IndiGo
Turkish Technic signed a major agreement with IndiGo at MRO Middle East 2025 for redelivery checks of more than 10 Airbus A320neo aircraft. The companies are advancing discussions for an additional agreement covering landing gear overhaul operations for IndiGo’s A320neo fleet.
The redelivery checks will take place at Turkish Technic’s facilities at Istanbul Ataturk and Sabiha Gokcen Airports. Turkish Technic’s expertise aims to optimize the redelivery process, ensuring efficient aircraft transitions.
Turkish Technic CEO Mikail Akbulut emphasized the deepening relationship with IndiGo, highlighting their ongoing commitment to advancing Indian aviation through comprehensive maintenance support. The agreement strengthens the existing partnership between the companies, building on their history of collaboration.
