MEXICO- Aeromexico (AM) announces a new daily flight between Mexico City (MEX) and Newark (EWR) starting October 27, 2024. The airline will use a Boeing 737 MAX 8 for this route.
Aeromexico is continuously expanding its footprint in the United States.
Aeromexico Mexico to Newark Flights
Flight AM410 departs Mexico City at 3:45 PM and arrives in Newark at 9:30 PM. The return flight, AM411, leaves Newark at 7:05 AM and lands in Mexico City at 11:55 AM.
This new service expands Aeromexico’s presence in the New York area, complementing its existing flights to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).
The route offers travelers an additional option for direct connections between Mexico’s capital and the New York metropolitan area.
737 MAX Routes
Aeromexico expands its Boeing 737 MAX 8 service to the United States in the second half of 2024. The airline introduces this aircraft on five routes:
- Guadalajara to San Francisco: Starting August 23, 2024, the 737 MAX 8 replaces the 737-800. Service begins with 3 weekly flights, increasing to daily from October 27, 2024. No flights operate between September 3 and October 26, 2024.
- Mexico City to Dallas/Fort Worth: From October 27, 2024, the 737 MAX 8 replaces the Embraer E190 on a daily flight.
- Mexico City to Salt Lake City: The 737 MAX 8 replaces the 737-800 from July 15 to August 18, 2024, operating daily.
- Mexico City to Tampa: Starting October 27, 2024, the 737 MAX 8 takes over from the Embraer E190 daily.
- Mexico City to Washington Dulles: Beginning July 1, 2024, the 737 MAX 8 replaces the 737-800 on a daily flight.
