CES 2025
CES typically attracts increased air service to Las Vegas. In previous years, Delta Air Lines (DL) has provided limited international flights to destinations like Amsterdam (AMS), Paris (CDG), and Seoul (ICN). Foreign carriers such as Asiana Airlines (OZ) and Air France (AF) have also offered temporary service to Las Vegas during the event.
These temporary routes cater to the high demand for international travel during CES, one of the world’s largest technology trade shows. They provide direct access for international attendees and exhibitors, eliminating the need for connections through other U.S. cities.
American Airlines’ decision to operate these routes highlights the importance of CES to the global tech industry and Las Vegas’s role as a major convention destination. It also demonstrates the airline’s flexibility in adapting its network to meet seasonal demand spikes.
For travelers planning to attend CES 2025, these flights offer convenient options for long-haul travel. They also provide an opportunity for Las Vegas residents to experience direct international flights from their home airport, albeit for a limited time.
As the travel industry evolves, such temporary routes may become more common, allowing airlines to test new markets and respond to event-driven demand without committing to year-round service. This approach balances the needs of travelers with the operational constraints and financial considerations of airlines.
