GURUGRAM, TOKYO- Air India (AI), the premier global airline of India, and All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan’s largest carrier, have entered into a codeshare agreement to interconnect their networks.
This new commercial collaboration will significantly expand travel options for passengers of both airlines, offering an enhanced selection of flights between India and Japan.
Air India ANA Codeshare
Effective May 23, 2024, this agreement enables Air India and All Nippon Airways guests to seamlessly reach their desired destinations by combining flights between India and Japan with a single ticket. Additionally, passengers of both airlines traveling on codeshare flights will enjoy premium services, including lounge access and priority boarding, consistent with the standards Star Alliance offers to its premium members.
This agreement becomes available for booking starting April 23, 2024. Air India will add its ‘AI’ designator code on ANA’s flights between Tokyo Haneda (HND) and Delhi (DEL), as well as Tokyo Narita and Mumbai (BOM).
Similarly, All Nippon Airways will add its ‘NH’ designator code on Air India’s flight between Tokyo Narita (NRT) and Delhi. Air India and ANA are also exploring opportunities to expand their cooperation on additional routes.
