NEW DELHI- Arun Kashyap, formerly the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at SpiceJet (SG) until March, has unveiled Sirius India Airlines to venture into the air charter industry, signifying a notable shift from his prior involvement in commercial aviation.
Sirius India Airlines is poised for growth, commencing operations with a solitary Hawker 4000 jet. Despite this modest start, the ambitious enterprise aims to rapidly broaden its fleet, with plans to scale up to three jets in the forthcoming months.

The collaboration is geared towards offering comprehensive solutions within the charter business and fractional ownership sector, both in India and globally,” stated the company in a press release.
In an effort to fortify its operations and expand its footprint, Sirius India Airlines has forged a partnership with Airavat Aviation, a luxury private air travel provider based in Dubai with operations spanning the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Looking forward, Sirius India Airlines has set ambitious growth objectives, intending to diversify its fleet by incorporating various aircraft types.
By the conclusion of the fiscal year 2025, the airline aims to integrate approximately twelve charter aircraft, ranging from 9-seaters to 100-seaters, to accommodate diverse travel preferences and requirements.
