GURUGRAM- IndiGo (6E), the largest airline in India, is set to launch new direct routes linking Abu Dhabi (AUH) and Kannur (CNN), commencing on May 9, 2024.
Enhancing its international network, the airline will provide daily non-stop flights from Kerala’s coastal city to the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), offering seamless travel opportunities for passengers interested in exploring the vibrant socio-cultural connections between these countries.
IndiGo Kannur to Abu Dhabi Flights
Mr. Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed, “We are delighted to announce the launch of direct flights between Abu Dhabi and Kannur. With these new additions, IndiGo will operate a total of 56 weekly flights to Abu Dhabi from 8 cities in India, fostering travel, trade, and tourism between the two nations. Our ongoing efforts focus on providing customers with exceptional connectivity and improved accessibility, allowing them to explore new destinations with our expanding range of travel options. IndiGo remains steadfast in delivering affordable, punctual, courteous, and hassle-free travel experiences across an extensive network.”
In light of recent developments, Abu Dhabi has witnessed a notable surge in travel activity. The introduction of these new flights from Kannur to the UAE offers travelers additional choices for their upcoming summer vacations.

Bengaluru to Bali Flights
On March 29th, IndiGo launched daily direct flights connecting Bengaluru and Denpasar in Bali, Indonesia. This expansion within Indonesia marks Bali as the second destination, following Jakarta, to be included in the extensive 6E network.
This new route aims to improve accessibility for Indian tourists traveling to Bali. Further, this will be the 33rd International and 119th overall destination for Gurugram-based airlines.
Flight 6E 1605 will leave Bengaluru at 12:05 a.m. and arrive in Denpasar at 10:20 a.m. Flight 6E 1606 will depart Denpasar at 11:20 a.m. and arrive in Bengaluru at 3:15 p.m.
The Bengaluru – Bali flight is now the longest narrowbody flight within IndiGo’s network. Interestingly, the booking engine indicates that the A320neo and not the A321neo operate it.
