FLY91 Agreement with Pratt and Whitney
Pratt & Whitney PW100-powered regional turboprop planes are noted for their fuel efficiency, consuming 25 to 40% less fuel and producing equivalent reductions in CO2 emissions compared to similar-sized jets typically used on regional routes spanning 350 miles or less.
Commenting on the agreement, Manoj Chacko, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of FLY91, emphasized its significance in ensuring the provision of reliable regional air travel from the airline’s base at Goa’s Manohar International Airport.
He underscored FLY91’s commitment to delivering dependable, sustainable, scalable air transportation services to bolster India’s regional connectivity.
Chacko expressed confidence that FLY91’s ATR aircraft, powered by P&WC’s PW127M engines, will contribute significantly to achieving this objective.
