MUMBAI- India’s rapidly expanding airline, Akasa Air (QP), has unveiled its international operations by adding Doha (DOH), the capital of Qatar, as its inaugural international destination.
Starting from March 28, 2024, Akasa Air will operate four non-stop flights weekly, linking Mumbai (BOM) to Doha and thereby enhancing air connectivity between Qatar and India. Flight bookings are now available with return fares starting at INR 29,012.
Akasa Air First International Flight
This milestone makes Akasa Air the first Indian airline to venture into international flights within an impressive period of 19 months since its establishment.
The initiation of operations to Qatar signifies the airline’s strategic growth phase, aiming to extend the warm and efficient Akasa experience globally at affordable rates.
Doha, as the capital and commercial hub of Qatar, holds a prominent position as one of the key economic drivers in the Middle East. Renowned for its cultural heritage, the city attracts a diverse range of business, spiritual, and leisure travelers from India throughout the year.
The introduction of additional direct and convenient travel options is anticipated to bolster both trade and tourism between the two nations.
