AYODHYA- Akasa Air (QP), recognized as India’s fastest-growing airline, has initiated daily flights from Ayodhya, introducing a direct service between Pune (PNQ) and Ayodhya (AYJ) via Delhi (DEL), ensuring a continuous journey without the need for aircraft changes.
The inaugural flight, which took place on February 15, 2024, departed from Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya at 13:35 hrs and reached Pune International Airport at 17:50 hrs, with a stop at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi at 15:05 hrs. The flight schedule prioritizes passenger convenience, particularly during daytime travel.

The introduction of flights to Ayodhya aims to meet the increasing demand for air travel in the region and aligns with Akasa Air’s mission of seamlessly connecting major metropolitan areas with non-metros across the country.

The Pets on Akasa initiative allows passengers to travel with their pets either in the cabin or in cargo, based on their weight.
In a commitment to inclusivity, Akasa Air has introduced safety instruction cards and onboard menu cards in Braille for individuals with visual impairments.
Since its launch in August 2022, Akasa Air has served over 7.7 million passengers, connecting 20 cities across India, including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Delhi, Guwahati, Agartala, Pune, Lucknow, Goa, Hyderabad, Varanasi, Bagdogra, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Port Blair, Ayodhya, Gwalior, and Srinagar.
