BRISBANE- UAE flag carrier Emirates (EK) is set to reopen its upgraded lounge at Brisbane Airport (BNE) on February 3, extending a warm welcome to First and Business Class travelers, along with eligible Emirates Skywards members.
Featuring a modern design and furnishings influenced by the Middle East, the revamped Emirates Lounge spans 1,108 square meters, accommodating up to 183 travelers at a time.
Emirates Reopens Brisbane Lounge
The lounge offers a variety of seating options, including cozy chairs and sofas, ensuring a comfortable space for passengers to relax before their flights.
Exclusive access to enhanced first-class facilities and amenities allows travelers to enjoy a refreshed dining area, shower facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a prayer room. Emirates passengers can also board directly from the lounge for a seamless journey.
The lounge boasts a diverse range of food and beverage options, including a buffet featuring local, Middle Eastern, Oriental, and European dishes such as Salmon Blinis, Vegetable Jalfrezi, Chicken Stroganoff, and classic desserts like Vanilla Bean Pannacotta and Lemon Meringue Tart.
The Emirates Lounge renovations include structural updates, incorporating critical systems, and form part of Emirates’ ongoing global investment in enhancing the overall customer experience.
The Brisbane Lounge is one of four Emirates lounges in Australia, contributing to the airline’s network of 30 lounges worldwide.

Situated on Level 4 of the International Terminal, the Emirates Lounge at Brisbane Airport welcomes First and Business Class travelers, along with eligible Emirates Skywards members, daily from 17:00 to 01:30. Paid access to the lounge is subject to availability.

Gert-Jan de Graaff, Chief Executive Officer of Brisbane Airport, expresses excitement about the reopening of the Emirates Lounge, emphasizing its world-class facilities that seamlessly connect travelers to the upper deck of the A380 while significantly boosting premium lounge capacity in Brisbane.
He notes that this renovation aligns with Brisbane Airport’s ongoing $5 billion transformation, encompassing upgrades to both the Domestic and International Terminals and the planning for Terminal 3.

The Emirates Lounge reopening coincides with Emirates’ decision to upgauge its second daily service EK430/431, between Dubai and Brisbane from a Boeing 777-300ER to an A380 starting from October 1.
Emirates currently operates two daily services from Brisbane, offering nearly 12,000 seats per week, contributing to tourism in Queensland, known for its beautiful beaches, captivating outback, and vibrant cities.
