HAMILTON- Bermuda’s Boutique Airline, BermudAir (2T), is set to enhance its east coastal expansion in the United States (US) for flights to Baltimore (BWI) starting March 18 and Orlando (MCO) on March 26.
The upscale airline has garnered attention in the media for its inventive premium-class service. To enhance the cabin’s sense of spaciousness for passengers and expedite boarding, overhead bins will be absent on the aircraft. Instead, travelers can utilize under-seat storage for their personal items or carry-ons.
BermudAir Baltimore and Orlando Flights
BermudAir is set to initiate flight services to Baltimore (BWI), commencing on March 18, offering three weekly flights using Embraer 175 aircraft, as reported by Ishrion Aviation. The schedule includes:
- Flight 2T551 departing from Bermuda (BDA) at 8:15 AM and arriving at BWI at 9:50 AM.
- Flight 2T552 departing from BWI at 10:45 AM and arriving back at BDA at 2:00 PM.
BermudAir is expanding its flight services to include Orlando (MCO) as well. The new route connecting Bermuda (BDA) to Orlando will commence on March 26, offering three weekly flights with the following schedule:
- Flight 2T751 departing from BDA at 3:30 PM and arriving at MCO at 5:40 PM.
- Flight 2T752 departing from MCO at 6:40 PM and arriving back at BDA at 10:10 PM.
BermudAir Founder and CEO Adam Scott stated during the launch,
“Our primary goal is to enhance the overall travel journey and offer precisely timed, passenger-centric, and hassle-free flights on these novel routes. The initiation of year-round service signifies the inaugural phase in our pursuit to redefine the travel encounter, setting the stage for the gradual rollout of BermudAir’s Aisle Class.”
Embraer E175 Operator
BermudAir will initiate a gradual rollout of its innovative services, beginning with the deployment of Embraer E175 aircraft in a phased manner. The initial configuration will consist of 88 standard seats.
However, for each flight, only 44 seats will be made available for purchase. These seats offer window and aisle access and ample room for carry-on bags.
Further, this design ensures a roomy and comfortable inflight journey for passengers. The flights will feature complimentary Wi-Fi and entertainment options.
Additionally, travelers will enjoy the convenience of at least one checked bag at no extra charge, with the possibility of more depending on the fare category.
