COPENHAGEN- SAS is gearing up for the summer season, with plans to operate flights to over 130 destinations in more than 40 countries.
SAS customers can anticipate the addition of nine new European destinations for the upcoming summer. Direct flights from Copenhagen will connect to Ibiza, Salzburg, Genoa, Tromsø, and the Dalaman/Turquoise coast in Turkey. Additionally, SAS will initiate flights from Bergen to London and from Oslo to Geneva, Milan, and Tivat on the coast of Montenegro.
SAS New European Destinations
Erik Westman, Chief Revenue Officer at SAS, expressed enthusiasm for the summer program, highlighting the seamless connectivity to major cities and capitals.
He emphasized the introduction of new holiday destinations like Ibiza, Genoa, and Tivat and the increased capacity for familiar favorites such as Malaga, Florence, Palma, and Alicante.
Westman anticipates a bustling summer and looks forward to welcoming passengers on board for their upcoming summer adventures.
SAS is expanding its flight offerings to perennially popular destinations in Spain and Italy from all three Scandinavian capitals. Stockholm and Copenhagen will feature up to 20 weekly flights to Malaga, while Oslo will have up to 17 flights to Alicante.
Copenhagen will provide Milan with four daily services, and there will be daily flights to Florence from Copenhagen, along with up to 25 weekly flights to Nice.
Oslo will see 14 weekly departures to Split, and during peak summer, SAS will offer twice-daily flights from Stockholm to both Milan and Paris. Additionally, Oslo and Copenhagen will maintain year-round operations in another cherished Scandinavian destination, Gran Canaria.
Enhancing Northern Connectivity
Copenhagen will see SAS offering five daily frequencies to Düsseldorf, four daily flights to Brussels and Gdansk, and three daily flights to both Warsaw and Vilnius.
From Stockholm, SAS will operate up to six daily flights to Tallinn and three daily flights to Vilnius.
Moreover, Stockholm will experience an increase to two daily flights to Berlin, up to six daily flights to Helsinki, and enhanced frequencies to both Turku and Vaasa.
SAS maintains a steadfast emphasis on domestic routes, enhancing the frequency of departures between Stockholm and Visby, Kiruna, Skellefteå, and Östersund.
Additionally, Copenhagen will see up to seven daily flights to Bergen during peak summer. Oslo will offer up to two daily flights to Aalborg, four weekly flights to Billund, and increased frequencies to Northern Norway.
