FRANCE- In 2023, Air France (AF) commemorates 90 years of elegance, marking nine decades of technological innovation and in-flight comfort.

Air France Celebrates 90 Years
It has offered travelers an exceptional journey that elevates elegance to new heights.
To celebrate and capture the essence of 90 years of elegance, Air France is unveiling a collection of five iconic dresses designed by Xavier Ronze, a renowned French designer and head of the costume design workshops at the Paris Opera Ballet.
Each dress represents different facets of the airline’s identity, including aircraft and technology, uniforms and fashion, iconic posters promoting its extensive network, fine dining and tableware, and design and architecture.
These unique dresses are crafted from historical Air France artifacts and contemporary elements, bridging the gap between the airline’s rich history and its modern image. They symbolize the best of Air France and the excellence that France excels in across various domains.
Air France has chosen the prestigious Galeries Lafayette, a renowned fashion destination in the heart of Paris, to showcase this original dress collection as part of its anniversary festivities.
From September 28 to October 10, 2023, the display journeys through the airline’s legendary history and tradition of high-flying elegance.
The dresses are exhibited alongside a curated selection of Air France’s most valuable heritage items and its latest offerings, highlighting 90 years of legendary aircraft, in-flight luxury, designer uniforms, exquisite dining experiences, and innovative design.

Anniversary Year
Air France is unveiling a special anniversary video to commemorate its 90th anniversary and share its unique expertise with the world. This captivating video features models adorned in designer dresses crafted by Xavier Ronze set against the backdrop of various behind-the-scenes locations within Air France.
From the airline’s expansive aircraft hangars to the graceful wings of an Airbus A220, a prominent focus is placed on these dresses, surrounded by a blend of modern and vintage Air France artifacts that served as their inspiration.
Directed by Killian Lassablière, in collaboration with the Aura by Omnicom agency, this distinctive video seamlessly combines grandiose settings, archival footage, and a captivating soundtrack composed by Axel Guenoun.
The video elegantly showcases Air France’s rich heritage and the finest aspects of its present offerings. It will be displayed starting from September 28 in the windows of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, online, and at various Air France locations. Additionally, the video will be accessible to the airline’s passengers in its airport lounges and onboard its aircraft.
