HAIFA- The Israeli Transportation Ministry has recently granted approval for the establishment of “Air Haifa,” a new Israeli airline set to launch in 2024.
According to a report from N12 on Monday, the airline will commence its operations with commercial flights to Eilat, Cyprus, Greece, and Turkey at the beginning of the next year. These flights will be operated from Haifa Airport (HFA) to the specified destinations.

This development comes in response to earlier reports indicating significantly higher flight prices from Haifa to Cyprus compared to prices for the same route departing from Tel Aviv. The introduction of the new airline is expected to lead to reduced flight prices for these destinations.
The introduction of “Air Haifa” comes shortly after the resumption of international flights at Haifa Airport in June, following a four-year suspension. Before establishing “Air Haifa,” the airport had been operating commercial flights to Cyprus six days a week.
The flight schedule from Haifa is currently outlined through the end of October, with flights to Cyprus arriving at either Paphos or Larnaca airports, depending on the day of travel.
