SINGAPORE- Bangkok Airways (PG) and Singapore Airlines (SQ) have unveiled a fresh codeshare partnership that has already commenced on September 4, 2023.
This collaboration is designed to offer passengers seamless travel connections between Singapore and various destinations in Thailand and other cities across Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.

Singapore Airlines and Bangkok Airways Codeshare
Within this cooperative venture, Bangkok Airways will establish codeshare agreements on Singapore Airlines flights linking Singapore with five key cities: Bangkok and Phuket in Thailand, Adelaide and Sydney in Australia, and Auckland in New Zealand.
In return, Singapore Airlines will enter into codeshare arrangements on Bangkok Airways flights operating between various points in Thailand, covering routes such as Singapore to Koh Samui, Phuket to Koh Samui, Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Bangkok to Koh Samui, Bangkok to Phuket, Bangkok to Luang Prabang in Laos, and Bangkok to Phnom Penh and Siem Reap in Cambodia.
This mutual codeshare arrangement between the two airlines is set to bolster connectivity across their extensive networks, granting passengers a wider array of travel choices.
Additionally, customers will benefit from increased convenience, as they will have the option to make flight reservations in a single booking and avail themselves of through check-in for their cabin baggage.

AI and PG Interline Codeshare
As part of its strategy to enhance its worldwide network, Air India (AI) has established an interline codeshare partnership with Bangkok Airways (PG) to improve connectivity within Thailand and various Southeast Asian nations.
This collaboration facilitates seamless connections through Air India’s Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Singapore gateways to and from 10 destinations situated in Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia, all of which are part of Bangkok Airways’ route network.
The agreement grants travelers complimentary lounge access at eligible airports, irrespective of their cabin class, as stated by Air India.
Air India passengers now have the option to connect to various Thai destinations such as Chiang Mai, Lampang, Sukhothai, Trat, Koh Samui, Phuket, and Krabi through Bangkok Airways.
Additionally, the interline partnership extends to international destinations, including Luang Prabang in Laos and Phnom Penh and Siem Reap in Cambodia.
Aside from the Bangkok gateway, Air India passengers also have the choice to travel to Koh Samui via Singapore and Hong Kong, as stated by the airline.
