TORONTO- Porter Airlines (P3) aims to enhance its network by introducing five new United States (US) destinations.
Porter Airlines is a Canadian aviation company with its headquarters situated at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, located on the Toronto Islands in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Porter Airlines U.S. Destinations
The airline plans to start flights to these five new US destinations from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ),
- Miami (MIA)
- Tampa (TPA)
- Fort Myers (RSW)
- Orlando (MCO)
- Fort Lauderdale (FLL)
Scheduled flights are set to commence in the months of November or December utilizing their newly acquired Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, reports Ishrion Aviation.
There are also nonstop flights planned from MCO/FLL to Ottawa (YOW). Please note that these details are subject to change pending the official announcement.
Apart from this, the airline also plans to enhance its Western Canada routes.
New Route
Porter Airlines (P3) is set to enhance its Western Canada network by introducing a new non-stop route connecting Ottawa International Airport (YOW) and Edmonton International Airport (YEG), providing travelers with increased convenience and connectivity.
Further, the airline’s expansion plans will come into effect from October 4. With the introduction of one daily roundtrip flight on the 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft.
It is Commencing at an attractive introductory price of $184 for roundtrip fares. Further, the new route is expected to be popular for passengers seeking efficient travel options.
The addition of the Edmonton-Ottawa route marks a significant milestone for Porter Airlines as it bolsters connectivity between Eastern and Western Canada.
Kevin Jackson, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Porter Airlines, expressed enthusiasm for the new route. He stated that it would provide passengers with an elevated economy experience unmatched by any other airline.
Subsequently, the non-stop service between YOW and YEG will offer travelers a seamless connection to Eastern Canada through Ottawa.
