ATLANTA- Expanding upon its most extensive service to the Latin American region this winter, Delta Air Lines (DL) is augmenting flight frequencies departing from six major U.S. hubs.
This initiative resulted in a remarkable 30% surge in available seating capacity compared to the previous winter season.
Further, the heightened frequencies extend to nine regional destinations. Subsequently, encompasses Guatemala and Liberia, Costa Rica, Central America, and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Delta Winter Schedule
This enhancement in services will result in increased Saturday flight frequencies by Delta to the following destinations:
From Atlanta:
- St. Thomas: Three times
- St. Maarten: Twice
- Guatemala: Twice
- San José: Three times
- Liberia: Three times
- San Juan: Six times
New York-JFK:
- Cancun: Three times
From Detroit:
- Punta Cana: Twice
- Montego Bay: Twice
- San Juan: Twice
From Minneapolis:
- Punta Cana: Twice
- Montego Bay: Twice
- San Juan: Twice
Additionally, an increase in Liberia service (currently offered four times a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday) is being introduced.
From Boston:
- San Juan: Twice
Commencing on January 13, Delta is set to introduce these newly added Saturday routes on a seasonal basis. Subsequently, these routes will encompass a range of aircraft, notably the Boeing 757-200, 737-900, and 737-800.
Further, all of these aircraft will offer distinctive cabin options, including First Class, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin.
In tandem with the augmented Saturday frequencies, Delta is further enriching its services by introducing an additional journey from Seattle to Cancun.
Departing on Fridays and returning on Saturdays, this route will be operational on the Boeing 737-800, starting from December 22 on a seasonal basis.
Largest Ever Holiday Schedule
In recent times, the airline introduced its most extensive holiday schedule, which has now been extended to include numerous routes that will remain accessible until April 2024.
This expanded schedule encompasses a total of 46 destinations and notably introduces a fresh route to Curacao alongside the reinstated service to Cartagena, Colombia.
Moreover, in an ongoing effort to amplify their comprehensive, interconnected network spanning North and South America, Delta and the LATAM group are consistently introducing new joint venture routes.
In a majority of these newly introduced flights, travelers can anticipate the availability of swift and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Passengers are offered diverse in-flight entertainment options, including complimentary access to Delta Studio, boasting an extensive collection of over 1,000 hours of on-demand content.
