DALLAS- Southwest Airlines (WN) is urging travelers to plan their spring break getaways as it extends its flight schedule until April 8, 2024.
In response to the varying demand and trends during the spring travel season, the airline is expanding its range of nonstop choices for Southwest® Customers.
This includes enhancing convenience on busy travel days by introducing new time-efficient nonstop routes alongside its existing daily connecting and same-plane services.
Southwest New Spring Season Flights
Southwest Airlines® is further expanding its international offerings and reinstating essential seasonal routes in line with customer preferences.
Baltimore to Beaches
Starting from March 9, 2024, the primary airline of Baltimore launches fresh nonstop flight options every Saturday connecting Baltimore/Washington and Belize*. Additionally, Southwest Airlines is reinstating its seasonal international services, offering nonstop flights on Saturdays between:
- Baltimore and Grand Cayman
- Baltimore and Turks and Caicos
- Baltimore and Cabo San Lucas/Los Cabos
Furthermore, from March 9, 2024, the airline reintroduces weekend nonstop flights between Baltimore and Panama City, Florida. In the same vein, Southwest resumes nonstop service on certain days of the week in March between Baltimore and Destin/Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.
St. Louis to the Sea
Starting from Saturday, March 9, 2024, the phrase “Gateway to the West” takes on a new significance as Southwest Airlines introduces seasonal nonstop flights between St. Louis and Los Cabos, Mexico*.
This route complements the revival of seasonal service on the same day between St. Louis and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
Commencing on March 9, the airline also renews its weekend-based seasonal service connecting St. Louis and three coastal destinations in Florida: Palm Beach, Pensacola, and Destin/Fort Walton Beach.
For St. Louis travelers seeking swift access to California’s Bay Area, daily nonstop flights between St. Louis and San Francisco are reinstated starting March 7, 2024.
Break Away from Austin
Starting from March 9, 2024, travelers departing from Austin can now relish new direct flights to the Caribbean courtesy of Southwest Airlines. The airline introduces a seasonal Saturday service connecting Austin and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
This addition complements the previously announced seasonal nonstop flights commencing on the same day, which include:
- Austin and Cozumel (Saturdays)
- Austin and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (Saturdays and Sundays)
- Austin and Panama City, Fla. (Saturdays)
- Austin and Montrose (Telluride/Crested Butte), Colo. (Saturdays)
Furthermore, on March 7, Southwest reestablishes its daily nonstop flights between Austin and Charleston, S.C.
