DUBAI- Air India’s low-cost subsidiary, Air India Express (IX) flight from Mangaluru (IXE) to Dubai (DXB) on July, 10, faced a long 13 hours delay due to a technical snag with Boeing 737 aircraft.
The Air India Express flight IX813, scheduled to depart from Mangaluru at 11 PM IST canceled by the airline. Further, flight IX813 is expected to arrive in Dubai at around 1:25 AM IST.

According to Flight Radar 24, the Air India Express flight IX813 is scheduled to operate with Boeing 737 registered as VT-AXN. But due to some technical issues, the flight was canceled.
The airline then deboarded the passenger, and many passengers were forced to stay in the airport the entire night. Subsequently, many passengers reported hardship during the night.
The next day, the airline arranged an alternative aircraft to fly the passengers to DXB. Further, the airline ferried the aircraft from Trivandrum Airport (TRV) as IX556 to IXE.
The aircraft having registration VT-GHA landed at IXE with a further delay at 11:26 AM IST. Subsequently, they quickly boarded the passengers, prepared the flight, and they taxied down the runway.
At around 12:26 PM IST, Air India Express flight IX383 took off from IXE. After being airborne for almost three hours and covering 2,459 KM, it landed at DXB at 1:48 PM local time.
So the actual wait time for passengers is around 13 hours and 26 minutes. Furthermore, this is not the first time that the airline has faced such delays due to technical issues.
