Go First airways Bengaluru Male Plane diverted to Coimbatore after getting a False Alarm.
The airline flight is scheduled daily from Bengaluru airport from 11:45 AM and is about to reach Male in the Maldives.
But Today’s flight takeoff on time but due to some alarm in the cockpit pilot decided to make an emergency landing at Coimbatore airport.
Later it is found that the alarm is a false alarm.
Go First Bengaluru Male Flight Diverted to Coimbatore
According to Flight radar, the flight departed as per its published schedule and on time. But it made an emergency landing at Coimbatore airport after 1 hour.
The plane involved in the incident is Airbus A320 Neo with Registration VT-WGZ.
According to our Go First spokesperson,
“The incident is being investigated by our engineering team and the rectification and solution is underway.”

All passengers are safe and the plane is currently at Coimbatore Airport. DGCA will also carry out an inspection and will investigate this issue.

Airlines previous incidents
This is not the first time Go First has made an emergency landing.
Recently, Go first Airways Ahmedabad Chandigarh flight was diverted back due to a bird strike.
Also, airlines Delhi Guwahati flights were diverted due to windshield cracking Mid-air,
Apart from that, airline 2 planes were grounded over engine snags.
DGCA has grounded VT-WGA aircraft having Fight Number G8-386 en route from Mumbai to Leh.
Also, VT-WJG registered aircraft with flight number G8-6202 on Srinagar to Delhi is grounded due to EGT overheating.
Such incidents are increasing frequently and DGCA must investigate and ground planes if it’s not airworthy.
