Akasa Air received its Second Boeing 737 max aircraft with registration number VT-YAB.
The aircraft is a Boeing 737 max 8 and is flown all the way up from Seattle Boeing Field and landed at New Delhi Airport.

Earlier Akasa air Announced the delivery of its First Boeing 737 Max aircraft on its social media platform, the airline received an aircraft on 16 June 2022, almost 40 days ago.

According to flight Radar 24 data and tracking information, B737 max started its journey from
- on 23 July Boeing field Seattle to Reykjavik airport in Iceland
- from 24 July Reykjavik to Larnaca in Cyprus
- on 26 July Larnaca to New Delhi, India
The Journey took almost 3-4 days to complete as the aircraft needs to make refueling stops on the way.
The airline announced the delivery of the second Boeing 737 today on Twitter stating,

Introduction of Akasa Air
The Airline is a Low-cost Carrier funded by the stock master Rakesh Jhunjunwala and its co.
The airline will be led by former Jet Airways CEO Vinay Dube and Former Indigo Airlines President Aditya Ghosh.
The Airline has opted for Boeing 737 Max Aircraft for its fleet due to its performance and now it is considered one of the safest aircraft on the planet after vigorous testing.
According to them, The Max aircraft will be powered by the highly fuel-efficient CFM LEAP B engine

To lease Five Boeing 737 Aircrafts the Airline has partnered with Griffin Global Asset Management,
a commercial aircraft leasing and alternative asset management business with offices in Dublin, Ireland, Puerto Rico, and Los Angeles, USA.
Griffin Global Asset Management also posted Boeing 737-8 Max Plane on their Twitter account on 9th June.
The airline posted photos of its first Max plane from the Boeing production factory in Portland, Oregon, on Monday as it prepares for delivery.
Akasa Air inked a contract with Boeing on November 26, 2021, to purchase 72 Max jets.
