Officials said a GoAir plane bound for Delhi has been delayed in Srinagar and is being checked after receiving a phone call warning of a bomb inside the plane.
The plane is being extensively searched.

Inspector General of Police for Kashmir, Vijay Kumar, stated that nothing has been discovered thus far.
According to officials, the GoAir flight, which was due to return to Delhi, was halted at the Srinagar airport when a management of another private airline received a call regarding a bomb on board.

The call was traced to Delhi, they stated, and the line has been disconnected since then.
The matter is being investigated by the police, according to Kumar, who also stated that airport operations are running normally.
