The Jetstar Group and IndiGo have launched a new Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) interline agreement via which Jetstar customers will be able to book IndiGo connections and flights through the Jetstar Connect platform.
Dohop, a technology company and flight search engine, is facilitating the virtual interline interaction between the two LCCs, which will commence at the end of April.

Customers can use the integrated booking engine to book flights and purchase bundled and unbundled supplementary products, and customers travelling between international flights can enjoy seamless passenger and baggage transfer, according to the Jetstar-IndiGo joint release.
“We are happy to announce the cooperation with Jetstar,” said William Boulter, IndiGo’s Chief Commercial Officer.
“This strategic partnership will allow both airlines to capitalise on the growing demand for foreign travel, particularly during the summer vacation season.”

“Customers will be able to book interline flights between the two premier carriers and gain access to a wide range of destinations across Asia Pacific as a result of the cooperation. Through Jetstar’s network, we will be able to expand our worldwide link to yet another continent. We are excited to welcome Jetstar’s customers aboard our lean, clean flying machine, as we provide them with an on-time, cheap, courteous, and hassle-free travel experience”

Mr. Lim Ching Kiat added, “In 2019, Singapore welcomed over 1.4 million visitors from India, and with the loosening of border restrictions, India has ranked among the top three countries at Changi in recent months.” “We welcome this new interline collaboration since it will provide travellers with more flight alternatives at Changi Airport,” said Lim Ching Kiat, a key partner of Changi Airport Group.
This is the Jetstar Group’s second virtual interline collaboration, following its interline with Tiger Taiwan in December 2019.
