Virgin Atlantic New A330neo Livery
Virgin Atlantic will introduce its fifth Airbus A330neo in May, showcasing a fresh flying emblem influenced by Sir Richard Branson and the defiant ethos ingrained in the airline’s DNA.
Inspired by Holly Branson, this emblem incorporates elements paying homage to Sir Richard’s illustrious career and iconic business ventures. Among these are Virgin Records pin badges, a Tubular Bells charm bracelet, a Virgin Galactic rocket adorning the belt buckle, and a Virgin Voyages anchor on the boot.
A bracelet featuring the initials J, S, and H also serves as a heartfelt nod to his wife Joan and children Holly and Sam. The emblem’s punk aesthetic mirrors the iconic Vivienne Westwood uniforms still proudly worn by Virgin Atlantic’s cabin crew.
Ruby Rebel epitomizes Virgin Atlantic’s commitment to innovation, tracing back to June 1984 when its inaugural aircraft, Maiden Voyager, embarked on its maiden voyage from London to New York, painting the skies red.
Since then, the airline’s unwavering focus has been on delivering unparalleled customer experiences with a uniquely distinct approach. From pioneering amenities like seatback TVs and the Premium cabin to leading initiatives such as the world’s first Pride flight and the inaugural 100% SAF transatlantic flight, Virgin Atlantic and its team continuously challenge conventional norms, striving to redefine air travel.
