New Mopa airport to generate revenue to increase domestic tourist

Goa’s only current airport in Dabolim witnesses airside congestion as it is also shared by the Indian NavyGoa is banking on a new airport at Mopa to soar tourism even higher and create the backbone of the state’s economy. With 8 million domestic and international travelers visiting Goa yearly, the state government hopes that the number will rise, as efforts are made to attract them with new innovative concepts, helping the exchequer.
