India’s first multi-modal airport, Navi Mumbai International Airport (IATA Code: NMI) successfully completed the calibration flights of the Instrument Landing System (ILS) for Runway 26/08 (Southern Runway) on August 13, 2024.
The second airport in construction for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Navi Mumbai International Airport, has assigned NMI as its IATA code by the International Air Transport Association.
