IndiGo (6E), India’s largest airline in terms of passengers and aircraft fleet, expressed interest in expanding its operations in the Sultanate of Oman.
IndiGo (6E) CEO Pieter Elbers at the CAPA Summit said, ‘IndiGo should not be labeled as a low-cost carrier (LCC) because it has implemented several initiatives uncommon for a typical LCC.’
In a statement regarding IndiGo’s stature, CEO Pieter Elbers emphasized the importance of comparing IndiGo with international carriers rather than exclusively focusing on domestic airlines.
